Kenya Airways and Vietnam Airlines have officially renewed their codeshare partnership. This collaboration comes on the heels of KQ’s successful resumption of flights to Thailand in November.
The codeshare agreement between Kenya Airways and Vietnam Airlines is designed to provide customers with enhanced flexibility and a variety of options.
Seamless connections are now available via Bangkok and Nairobi to various destinations, including but not limited to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Dar es Salaam, Kisumu, Entebbe, Kigali, and Mombasa.
This partnership caters to the needs of both leisure and business travelers, as well as those visiting family or friends.
For passengers heading to Vietnam, convenient connections to Hanoi and Saigon can be effortlessly facilitated through Kenya Airways’ services in Bangkok and onwards on Vietnam Airlines.
Kenya Airways reinstated its services to Bangkok on November 21, 2023, with flights operating three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The airline employs its high capacity B787-8 Dreamliner aircraft for these routes.
Travellers now have the option to purchase single-ticket itineraries covering their entire journey on Kenya Airways’ flights.
This offers a hassle-free experience with added benefits, such as the airline’s ample baggage allowance and the convenience of seamless bag check-through to the final destination.
Both Kenya Airways and Vietnam Airlines are members of the SkyTeam Global Airline Alliance. As a result, frequent flyers on either airline can accumulate miles, and Elite Plus travelers can enjoy SkyPriority services.
