“This certification reaffirms our unwavering commitment to providing our customers with the finest poultry products,” he said.

The certification was awarded following a rigorous and comprehensive audit process that scrutinised various aspects of Kenchic’s operations.

The audit encompassed a wide range of processes, including chicken slaughter, processing of fresh and frozen poultry products, further processed products, and ready-to-eat items.

The audit found Kenchic’s processing facilities and production floors to be flawless, with commendable Good Manufacturing Practices.

The audit had two primary objectives. First, it assessed the conformity of Kenchic’s management system with the audit criteria and the company’s ability to ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements.

Second, it evaluated the effectiveness of Kenchic’s systems in achieving its objectives and identified areas for improvement.

“We have always believed that ensuring food safety is not just a responsibility but a commitment to making a positive impact on our customers’ lives, by achieving this certification, we continue to uphold our promise of providing safe, sustainable, and environmentally friendly food production,” said Mr Tozer.

Kenchic’s commitment to promoting shared prosperity through sustainable food production aligns with its core values.

The company’s mission is to create greater well-being for all by producing food in a manner that is safe, sustainable, and environmentally friendly.

By ensuring food safety at every stage of the production process, Kenchic aims to facilitate customers in leading healthier, more fulfilling lives by providing access to quality, nutritious food now and in the future.
